I like the sound of the Charge 3 over the Soundlink Revolve. The treble was better on the Soundlink Revolve. But the sound is more loud and balanced on the JBL Charge 3. If the Charge 3 has 360-degree sound it could have been even better.

The JBL Charge 3 has well-balanced lows, mids, and highs. But don’t get me wrong here, the Soundlink Revolves produces amazing sound. But when compared side by side, Charge 3 does it better that might be because of the passive radiator. The Charge is a bit louder and bassy. The Revolve feels wide, all ranges are very clear and has more bass than any small to mid-sized Bluetooth speaker except the Charge. If the bass is a priority, Charge 3 is would be better for you. Otherwise, for wide range sound that offers clear vocals and crisp highs, Revolve is the winner.

Moreover, JBL Charge 3 can also be used as a 6000 mAh power bank to charge your smartphone and other media devices in case of the emergency. But Revolve offers nothing like this.
