Oppo Enco W31 – The Overview

Check on Amazon Check on Amazon India

The Oppo Enco W31 is an excellent option for the best in terms of simplicity and convenience. There are no high-end gimmicky features, but there is nothing wrong that you would witness with the Oppo earbuds.

The black version has been one of the excellent options as it would miss fingerprints or yellowing. The lid does not open, as in the case of the commonly used earbuds, but you would need to go through a secure mechanism to open it. As an analogy, you would need to open it as if you would open a laptop. The construction of the case is quite sturdy enough. The extremely lightweight construction is yet another added advantage.

The buds come with IP54 water-resistant properties. That should make them one of the best options for wearing during regular workout sessions. As for the fitment and comfortability, they would offer you a better degree of comfortability. The design inspiration makes it look a lot more like Apple AirPods. They would never sit snugly, or even will not come out of your ears. The charging LED is placed inside the case. That should be an excellent option as you would not be annoyed by looking at the charging LEDs at night.

If you look at the sound quality, the buds have 7 mm, dynamic audio drivers. Availability of Dual TPU composite graphene diaphragm should be one of the best options to listen to best audio clarity even at extreme volumes without distortion. You can be assured of perfect sound performance at both low and high frequencies. Clarity and bass performance are at its best.

There is a special mode referred to as Bass Mode. The mode is designed to provide you with a boost in the lower frequencies. The earbuds have a special sensor that would turn off when you remove one or both earbuds and resumes when you put them back on.

A great option at this price point, the Oppo Enco W31 comes with dual microphone noise cancellation. Of course, you would not get the active noise cancellation, but we would nevertheless consider it one of the thoughtful inclusions. The dual microphones work with an AI algorithm and detect and cancel the background noise rather effectively.

The battery life is much impressive. Each earbud comes with a 3.5-hour backup, and the case gets around 15 hours of listening.

Realme Buds – A Concise Review

Yet another Apple AirPods clone, the Realme Buds, offers you a decent degree of performance. In fact, the buds look precisely like Apple AirPods, and there is every chance that people will tend to confuse them with the expensive product in the TWS earbuds category.

Although the earbuds are made of plastic, the quality of the plastic is not bad. The earbuds and the charging case are decent in terms of appearance. Taking them off from the case may be a little bit difficult, but that would make it a bit secure.

They fit well in position and do not fall off easily. However, there are times when they may appear to be a little uncomfortable, and you may need to move them slowly to get the best optimum experience. However, wearing them during exercises may not be comfortable. While the earbuds do not come out of your ears comfortably, they would leak in the ambient noise. The lightweight would make it one of the prime options for your needs in using them for prolonged hours.

The sound performance is one of the best and provides you with access to an improved experience. The sound signature is balanced for the most part. Of course, you would find the mids a little annoying. The soundstage may appear to be a little limited. If you check out the reviews, you will find that a few users reported that vocals are not clear, while a few other users noticed the vocals to be much prominent. This is precisely what makes the Realme Buds a little inconsistent with their performance.

The battery life is much decent, and you should get around 17 hours of backup on a single charge, including the earbuds and charging case. However, there are a few gestures and touch controls that may not work as expected.

OnePlus Buds Z – A Sneak Peek

OnePlus Buds are more expensive when you compare them to the Oppo Enco W31 and Realme Buds. Looks of the earbuds offer you an excellent option for your needs in an enhanced experience with an eye-catching appearance. Even the charging case is made differently and is a pleasure to witness. The simplicity is one of the best options that would make it a great choice. The entire combination of the earbuds and charging case is quite lightweight, which further makes it one of the better ones you would want to go with for effortless day to day usage.

The OnePlus Buds come with an IPX4 rating. That would mean you can easily wear them during your work out regime. The buds are made of hard plastic, just as in the case of Apple AirPods. You do not get the ear tips, so the tip will suit you if you are lucky. If they do not fit, there is nothing you would be able to do as such. It may need a while to get used to the functionality and comfortable wearing.

The design without silicone tips can be one reason you would get a lot of ambient noise when listening to your favorite tracks using the OnePlus Buds. That would make it more annoying if you are using the earbuds in a noisy environment. However, OnePlus attempts to make use of the Environmental Noise cancellation. The system makes use of three microphones and analyses the sound to eliminate it effectively. While this technology will be comfortable in most circumstances, you would find it going haywire in a boisterous environment.

In case you have an OnePlus smartphone, the earbuds would be a great option to use as you will get access to a better degree of performance. The OnePlus Buds support Dolby ATMOS Audio, but this support is available only on OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, 8, and OnePlus 8 Pro phones. There is a Dirac Audio Tuner feature as well, but once again, it will work only on OnePlus Nord phones. And then, there is a low latency mode for gaming, but once again, this will work only with OnePlus 6, 6T, OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, 8, and OnePlus 8 Pro phones and will work with the Fnatic gaming mode enabled.

One of the worst factors we noticed is that the Firmware Update facility is available only with the OnePlus phones, which can be a huge let down in many cases.

The earbuds have a more significant 13.4mm audio driver and provide a decent audio experience. Each of the earbuds should offer you a 7 hours backup time, and you can get an additional 30 hours of backup on the charging case.

The Concluding Thoughts

Well, that was a complete discussion on all the excellent options offered by the three powerfully compelling earbuds, such as Oppo Enco W31, Realme Buds, and OnePlus Buds. We found the three earbuds an excellent option but differ in terms of a few key features.

Check them out and pick the best options that meet your needs. We would not treat any of these earbuds better than the others, as each of them comes with its own plus points along with disadvantages. Analyze the features outlined above for each of them and decide which among them meets your needs.
